Foods to avoid in Pregnancy

It’s a long time since the 1950’s when pregnant women smoked and drank for the nine months with their Doctor’s knowledge. Even 20 years ago in my first pregnancy there were no restrictions on what pregnant women ate. But just three years later and pregnant again there was a long list of banned foods!!

These rules still apply today. To be avoided are, all soft cheeses, fish with high mercury content, all raw meat and seafood (including sushi), deli meats and raw eggs.
